We are a small group of householders and mate travelers living in Greece. We would like to offer you the possibility to visit the country in the most safe, totally secure and still convenient way. We think of you like fellow travelers and we want to create a trustful network for vacations.

Introduction

These terms and conditions, as may be amended from time to time, apply to all our services made available online, through any p/c or mobile device, by email or by telephone. By accessing, browsing and using our website /internet platform (hereafter collectively referred to as the "Platform") and/or by completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy policy statement).

These pages, the content and infrastructure of these pages, and the online reservation service provided by us on these pages and through the website are owned, operated and provided by Home Sweet Home house owners network in Greece [hereafter for shortly HomeSweetHome] and offered for the guests and home owners in Greece personal, non-commercial (B2C) use only, subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

1. Scope and Nature of our Service.

HomeSweetHome is a house owners' network in Greece willing to contact directly guests with no third parties agencies getting involved, so to exclude extra charges and fees for reservation on the properties. HomeSweetHome invites house owners living in Greece to join the network and to become a joint partner for offering their properties on the Platform. It is a cooperation project we address to both holiday guests abroad and house owners living in Greece.

2. Standard quality conditions for properties.

All properties listed on HomeSweetHome platform have been through a verification procedure about their guests accommodation standards and health conditions. Visitors can overlook on the paragraph: Property Facilities we present for each property on the platform. House owners are responsible for compliance with the guest accommodation standards and health conditions as described on the site and the short term rental agreement they sign with visitors. Guests by making a reservation they accept those conditions to be true. For any other request and complaints please, see below the Complaint Policy paragraph of this Agreement.

3. Payments, Prices and Refund Policy for the guests.

Visitors on the HomeSweetHome platform willing to make a reservation they can check the properties' availability and send an email to the project's coordinator. The project coordinator will then provide you the house owner's contact details to get in touch with she/he before proceeding to the reservation payment. Reservation payment will be made directly to the landlord's bank account in Euro currency. Payment amounts to the total cost of the property's rent during their staying. You can check the properties' Prices on the site. We guarantee you that no additional charges or extra fees will be added to the property reservation other than the one you can see on the platform. Prices are listed per night and for number of persons that they will come to the property so you can calculate the final cost of your staying. We provide guests with supplementary info about the transport choices to Greece and during their staying to better plan their journey.

Guests that they wish to cancel their reservation before coming to Greece they can send a refund request to the house owner up to 15 days before the check in. For guests applying for the refund they can get a partial reimbursement on the reservation cost if they cancel their check in from fifteen (15) to seven(7) days before their arrival. They can have a 25% refund if they cancel fifteen days before the arrival while a 15 % refund if they cancel seven days before their arrival. After that date no reimbursement can be made to the guests. House owners are obliged to totally refund the guests in case they should renounce under extreme circumstances the booking. Extreme circumstances for house owners are due to impaired public health conditions, natural catastrophes, unpredictable house damages, etc.

Visitors must leave the house by the day of the check out according to their private Agreement. They can ask the landlord to extend their staying instead, depending on the availability of the property. Any further staying away from the acceptance of the house owner it will carry a legal penalty.

Travelers wishing to spend an extended holiday in Greece, from 15 -30 days, can contact the house owner on a special offer request before leaving their country.

4. Complaint Policy for guests and owners.

Visitors can check the facilities in each property as listed under the category Properties on the site. They can ask further info about the property and/or extra services if available while contacting the house owner before the reservation payment. House owners are constrained to observe only and absolutely the facilities' list and health conditions for their property as described on the site and the short term rental agreement. Properties' interior spaces, all furniture and house ware will be disinfected to guarantee health conditions up to a week before visitors' arrival. A disinfection certificate by the health Company will be as visible on the door lock inside the house. HomeSweetHome for avoiding any risk of contamination we give our guests all housing facilities to feel like being at home for cooking, cleaning and have plenty of relax time. No room service will be available in the properties during their staying. We recommend our visitors from European countries to apply or to renew their European Health Insurance Card before leaving their country that they can ask at their National Health Insurance provider. Guests will effect their reservation payment only if they agree to the description, the property facilities and health conditions as described on the site. Additionally to the reservation payment receipt they will receive a copy of the short term rental agreement to be signed by both the house owner and the guest with a notice about the staying period and the property's facilities.

Any further complaint while the guests' staying can be directed to the project's coordinator to address to the house owner. The guests agree to follow the property’s rules including, but not limited to, occupancy rules, noise ordinances, etc. They will maintain the property in a respectful and clean manner. If any damages are found by the house owner the guest agrees to bear full responsibility of repairs or replacement. By booking this property, the guest holds the house owner harmless against all claims of personal injury, accident, damage, loss or illness. They also agree to vacate the property at the termination of the rental period.Check out comes to 12:30' a.m. in all properties. In case of serious divergences a legal mediator will be appointed by both the guest and the house owner to negotiate for the best solution.
